THE BEGINNING of THE JOURNEY

Our story began with one person’s vision and a heartfelt desire to offer more than just a service. Driven by a love and care for all living things, we set out to minimise the environmental impact of printing.

Printing services inevitably have an impact on the environment. The main issue that arose was how to reduce our negative environmental impact. The goal was not only to think green but to act green as well.

A GREEN WORLD VIEW

Starting out was challenging as the vision of a sustainable printing industry was still foreign to the local market. However, our commitment to becoming the most environmentally friendly and preferred packaging and printing partner in Estonia and the Baltic Sea region, combined with continuous effort, led to results.

In close cooperation with the Estonian Fund for Nature, ink suppliers, and paper manufacturers, we created our own unique brand, Green Print.

Going forward, Ecoprint’s story is more than just growing sales figures. It’s a story driven by a green mindset, innovation, development, courage, and ambition.

A DEFINITE DIRECTION

Environmental care remained a firm direction as the company grew, and we soon involved other companies, partners, and stakeholders. Instead of a “do it yourself” mentality, we adopted a “let’s do it together” approach.

To provide value that could be passed onto future generations, we had to take bold steps forward. Environmental friendliness, professionalism, flexibility, and responsibility guided us on this journey.

IMPORTANT ACHIEVEMENTS

We had a vision to become the leading environmentally friendly printing company in Estonia and its neighbouring countries. We pursued our vision with determination, and Ecoprint became the first FSC® certified printing house in Estonia. Shortly thereafter, we also received the Nordic Ecolabel.

Ten years of taking environmentally conscious steps gave us a competitive advantage and helped us succeed as a small company alongside large corporations. Over time, our approach and green initiatives gained wider recognition and received numerous awards both in Estonia and Europe.

INVESTMENTS AND DEVELOPMENTS

The Environmental Investment Center (KIK) has recognized Ecoprint’s environmentally friendly activities and supported us in replacing almost all of our machinery with more efficient and resource-efficient technology. Investments in new technologies and equipment have enabled us to focus even more on producing environmentally friendly packaging.

Today, we see that sustainability and environmentally friendly practices are the new reality. For us, this means, above all, caring for the environment around us and taking responsibility for future generations.
