In developing our ESG strategy, we have placed the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals at the center of our efforts.

Based on our mission and vision, we have focused on the following goals:

7. Affordable and clean energy

8. Decent work and economic growth

9. Industry, innovation and infrastructure

12. Responsible consumption and production

14. Life below water

15. Life on land

Today, we introduce goal number 15. Life on Land

Goals:

15.1 By 2020, ensure the conservation, restoration and sustainable use of terrestrial and freshwater ecosystems and their services, in particular forests, wetlands, mountains and drylands, in line with international agreements.

15.2 By 2020, promote the implementation of sustainable management of all types of forests, halt deforestation, restore degraded forests and substantially increase forestation and reforestation globally.

Indicators:

15.1.1 Proportion of land area covered by forest

15.1.2 Proportion of important areas for biodiversity conservation and ecosystem services in terrestrial and freshwater ecosystems, by ecosystem type

15.2.1 Progress towards sustainable forest management

Ecoprint’s Contribution:

15.1 Company’s contribution to ecosystem restoration through volunteer work, including approximately 10 years of tree planting tradition

15.2 Preferencing FSC-certified paper and cardboard products, which contribute to ecosystem conservation as the raw material comes from responsibly managed forests, where natural environment, communities and economic viability are valued equally.

We are here to help you make informed choices. Together, we can contribute to a more environmentally conscious and responsible future.
