In developing our ESG strategy, we have placed the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals at the center of our efforts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

15. Life on land<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today, we introduce goal number 15. Life on Land<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Goals:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

15.1 By 2020,\u00a0ensure the conservation, restoration and sustainable use of terrestrial and freshwater ecosystems and their services, in particular forests, wetlands, mountains and\u00a0drylands, in line with\u00a0international agreements. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

15.2 By 2020, promote the implementation of\u00a0sustainable management of all types of forests, halt deforestation,\u00a0restore degraded forests and substantially increase forestation and reforestation globally.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Indicators:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

15.1.1 Proportion of land area covered by forest <\/p>\n\n\n\n

15.1.2 Proportion of important areas for biodiversity conservation and ecosystem services in terrestrial and freshwater ecosystems, by ecosystem type <\/p>\n\n\n\n

15.2.1 Progress towards sustainable forest management<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ecoprint’s Contribution:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

15.1 Company’s contribution to ecosystem restoration through volunteer work, including approximately 10 years of tree planting tradition <\/p>\n\n\n\n

15.2 Preferencing FSC-certified paper and cardboard products, which contribute to ecosystem conservation as the raw material comes from responsibly managed forests, where natural environment, communities and economic viability are valued equally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
